# FOR A BADGER?

I know what you may be thinking, wait actually no I don't. If I did I would be in a circus with a private trailer with my name in lights. But that is neither here nor there....

Anyway. I may be a few days behind the trend but this is definitely worth it. What I am droning on about is a new, frankly awesome, advertising meets social media, meets an incredibly cool-short-legged-weasel-family-based-omnivore (a badger), experiment. A ultra-fancy motion detecting enclosure, one that most SA security companies would get wrong, has predefined areas that, once entered will send a tweet about the Badgers actions/escapades. Definitely worth a view, good job JHB Zoo, Draft FCB JHB and Hello Computer.

JUST TRYING TO BE COOL...ISH

Hello to the few entitled...wel erm...few, that are reading this little exert of my thoughts on all things. Yes It has been over  a year since my last post and I thought what would be apt for this home-coming, as it were. Well one thing, would be to say something poignant about why there has been a lack in the postage department... And wahey what do you know, the French Alt-Indie-but-have-made-it-kinda-band Phoenix have released a song fitting to my hiatus... "Trying to be cool".

This catchy little number, seems to have the video inspired but the likes of OKGO (With this beast, 'This Too Shall Pass' ) and Two Door Cinema Club (with the fancy: 'What You Know). Yet still has a damn fine video that I would love to have been a part of. Now could someone please tell them to come to South Africa, I would be thankful. (Linkage)

Yes I know its been awhile since I have posted something of value, I am sure the 5 or 6 of you that will read this will probably like that I am posting again. Yay. Lazy skater

Yes, the above picture is not only awesome but is in-fact of a hands free electronically powered skateboard. I want it, its remarkably expensive and I have no real need for it but what self respecting 25 year old male wouldn't want one! If you are a graphic designer, or someone who works with a certain amount of typography, you will appreciate the above poster. For a very long time I have believed that Comic Sans MS is just a cruel joke that someone is playing on the world.  This poster gives hope to that shunned font. Comic sans MS, I would love you but only if you were Helvetica...

To be honest, I have absolutely no clue as to the point of this. I do however love the idea of coloured wool wrapping around something completely random, seen here around a word. What about a lamp or encasing a set of speakers?

Well now, someone woke up on the clever side of bed this morning! You know you do it, from cellphones to glasses and the occasional glassy-type surface thing, you will always use your shirt in the absence of a cleaning cloth. Now there is a shirt that lets you do that without damage to your selected contraption. The shirt has a built in micro-fibre panel.
