THE DEAD ARE WALKING AGAIN....AGAIN

Walking Dead Season 4. That is all.

# FOR A BADGER?

I know what you may be thinking, wait actually no I don't. If I did I would be in a circus with a private trailer with my name in lights. But that is neither here nor there....

Anyway. I may be a few days behind the trend but this is definitely worth it. What I am droning on about is a new, frankly awesome, advertising meets social media, meets an incredibly cool-short-legged-weasel-family-based-omnivore (a badger), experiment. A ultra-fancy motion detecting enclosure, one that most SA security companies would get wrong, has predefined areas that, once entered will send a tweet about the Badgers actions/escapades. Definitely worth a view, good job JHB Zoo, Draft FCB JHB and Hello Computer.

JUST TRYING TO BE COOL...ISH

Hello to the few entitled...wel erm...few, that are reading this little exert of my thoughts on all things. Yes It has been over  a year since my last post and I thought what would be apt for this home-coming, as it were. Well one thing, would be to say something poignant about why there has been a lack in the postage department... And wahey what do you know, the French Alt-Indie-but-have-made-it-kinda-band Phoenix have released a song fitting to my hiatus... "Trying to be cool".

This catchy little number, seems to have the video inspired but the likes of OKGO (With this beast, 'This Too Shall Pass' ) and Two Door Cinema Club (with the fancy: 'What You Know). Yet still has a damn fine video that I would love to have been a part of. Now could someone please tell them to come to South Africa, I would be thankful. (Linkage)

Feeble is good.

Yes I know its been awhile since I have posted something of value, I am sure the 5 or 6 of you that will read this will probably like that I am posting again. Yay. Check out these little beauties, complete with a video nogaal. Some phenomenal illustration, beautiful ideas and remarkable executions. Go be creative, people. For all of you that went to design indaba, "don't put pants on the wookie"....

Desk organiser lvl 100

A fully customizable desk organizer! I want it, quite badly in fact. If the rest of the creative world is anything like me then their desks are a bit....Jackson Pollockey. This little number will take you into a more organised and beautifully stylish desk of excellence. More?

Interesting interiors, thats all.

Just a couple pictures of some very cool interiors I have found. No links, no witty reparte, just cool images. Thanks.

25 hrs of awesomeness

Those wonderful creatives over at Stephen Williams Asociates have done something that almost brought a tear to my eye. Yes it is that beautiful. Look at the pictures and tell me you don't want to go there. What's that? Thought not. As I was saying, a wonderful mesh of eclecticism bringing together colour, wood textures with some delightful modern luxuries. I want one....but as my house. Lookie lookie

Lazy skater

Yes, the above picture is not only awesome but is in-fact of a hands free electronically powered skateboard. I want it, its remarkably expensive and I have no real need for it but what self respecting 25 year old male wouldn't want one! Lean forward to go in a forward based movement, backwards for the slowing down thingy. Need more info?

One for the Designers

If you are a graphic designer, or someone who works with a certain amount of typography, you will appreciate the above poster. For a very long time I have believed that Comic Sans MS is just a cruel joke that someone is playing on the world.  This poster gives hope to that shunned font. Comic sans MS, I would love you but only if you were Helvetica...

Sharp Idea...(see what I did there)

How many times have you gone away on holiday and there is is never enough space for your knives? Well unless your name is dexter or Jack, this probably wont happen... These little beauties are quite delightful. They all fit into each other and are manufactured out of high quality Stainless-steel. More?

Geekdom is comfy

Yes, I am a Star Wars nerd. There, it's out now everyone can admit to it. Now just to find these little beauties in South Africa...

RE-duce, RE-use, RE-cycle

I, along with half the creatives in this world, am broke. I do also quite enjoy the original and quirky. Cue the reclaimed wood trend. This is a fantastic idea simply because its cheap and you are using mostly waste materials. Now its time I try....

Cinder toast

You know how sometimes you have a couple extra hours, a cinder block and a severe urge for a toasted pita bread? Well...no but I am sure it happens. If not how do you explain this lil beauty? I do however really like the idea of it more than the actual object. More?

What cluster homes should be

Dear Everyone that owns a complex, the entire thing. Make this and you will then be awesome. Now, you are lame. Thanks.
Fall deeper in love with interiors

Beautiful Sounds

The ever inventive and original brand RVCA and the artist Daniel Ting Chong have outdone themselves once again. An awesome design on a killer styled guitar. This just adds to the long list of reasons to be a musician... check out more

conquistador del café

We need to get South Africa something like this lil place. Beautiful interiors, probably very cool vibes. Who cares what the coffee is like.... wanna see more?

Fruits of the Loom

To be honest, I have absolutely no clue as to the point of this. I do however love the idea of coloured wool wrapping around something completely random, seen here around a word. What about a lamp or encasing a set of speakers?

Colour me impressed

Well now, there is a solution to not being able which colour to paint your house. This lil beauty was from a photographer so his work you can check out here <->. Now we just have to be a bit more inventive with the way we look at colours, and no pink and turquoise are not suitable house colours....

be inspired to not be chicken

Its the weekend! forget work, do something that will scare you. These guys do and get paid for it! (don't do any of the following though...)

true literature

Here is a nice little read about uh...reading, and why you should read comics. This is directly inline with the premise that TV is in fact, evil.
its here...
